Naomy Kanyemba Lintini
Naomy is a development practitioner with a passion for promoting development sustainable solutions. She is a business mentor and holds an MBA with over 20 years’ experience providing policy advisory support to continental and regional communities, and various national governments on sustainable development solutions across various sectors.
Naomy works for the International Labour Organization. As Technical Advisor and Project Manager, she has over the years worked closely with the African Union, AUDA-NEPAD, the AfBD, GIZ, and organized labour, organized business and private sector entities in Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Eswatini on various programmes ranging from private sector and sustainable enterprises development, market systems development, structural transformation, economic diversification, demand responsive skills development, to youth and women economic empowerment.
Naomy is currently based here in South Africa, still with the ILO, where she works closely with the SADC Secretariat on a region-wide initiative, which collaborates with key sector players to systemically address some of the challenges causing decent work deficits and low productivity in Southern Africa’s Construction sector.
