Lysiane Lefebvre
Lysiane is a seasoned policy adviser and project manager with extensive experience in international development and sustainable practices. At the Shamba Centre, she plays a pivotal role in coordinating multi-stakeholder initiatives involving over ten international partners and has successfully secured partnerships and pledges exceeding $100 million. Her responsibilities include overseeing reporting processes for substantial financial disbursements, negotiating grant funding agreements and representing the organisation at global events.
Prior to joining the Shamba Centre, Lysiane worked at the International Institute for Sustainable Development, managing grants on economic law and policy totaling several million dollars. Her expertise in project management was further honed during her internship at the United Nations, where she conducted research on economic issues affecting less-developed countries.
Lysiane holds a Master’s degree from Sciences Po Paris, specialising in Global Economic Policy, and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from McGill University.
Her diverse skill set includes analytical research, policy writing, and stakeholder engagement, making her a valuable asset in the field of international relations and sustainable development.
