Korkor Cudjoe - Senior Entrepreneurship Programme Manager

Korkor is a passionate leader and visionary in the field of women’s entrepreneurship, committed to driving economic growth and social transformation across Africa. With over 15 years entrepreneurial experience spanning West, East, and Southern Africa, she has seamlessly transitioned into the development sector, where she has championed impactful change for nearly two decades.

Korkor’s career is marked by her work with renowned institutions such as GIBS Business School, WDB Investment Holdings, and TechnoServe, where she played an instrumental role in designing and executing initiatives that have reshaped the landscape for women entrepreneurs. In her role as the Women Economic and Social Advancement Program Manager at the Graça Machel Trust, she built extensive networks and led transformative initiatives for women in agribusiness and business federations—fostering leadership, driving business growth, and contributing to socio-economic development.

A standout achievement in her journey is the expansion of the Women Creating Wealth (WCW) program under her stewardship. Reflecting the Trust’s commitment to positioning women at the forefront of Africa’s economic transformation, WCW has engaged over 4,000 women entrepreneurs and is on track to reach 10,000, aspiring to generate more than a billion dollars in revenue and create 200,000 jobs for Africa’s youth. Korkor’s approach emphasizes personal mastery, leadership, and agency, while nurturing supportive networks and enhancing market access, financial inclusion, and investor readiness for women-led businesses.

Her academic foundation includes a BCom Honours from the University of Swaziland, a Masters in Public Development from the University of Witwatersrand, and a coaching certification from the University of Cape Town. Korkor’s dedication to reshaping Africa’s economic narrative continues to inspire transformative change, leaving an indelible mark on the continent’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
