Dr. Mfanasibili Ngwenya is an ICT expert with over 20 years of experience, including roles at major companies such as Siemens, Sentech, and Vodacom, both in Africa and the UK. He holds a PhD in Information Science, focusing on data privacy, security, and trust in the Internet of Things (IoT). Additionally, he has an MSc in Engineering Management, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, and a BSc in Computer Engineering. Dedicated to closing Africa’s digital divide, he has implemented successful device financing strategies to boost smartphone adoption. Furthermore, he is an author in IoT security and holds certifications in Data Science and Business Intelligence. Currently, he is working on leveraging alternative data for credit scoring to enhance financial inclusion across Africa.
