Dipuo  Phakathi is a qualified engineer by profession and passionate warrior for customer excellence. Having previous experience in the Mining and Banking sectors, she finally decided to pursue her life-long dream of home improvements through her company Denic Cabinets.

In 2020 she was nominated for the Standard Bank Young achiever award! Her work has been featured in various media platforms such as the Top Billing TV show and Home-owner magazine.

Denic Cabinets has had the opportunity to conduct work on some of Gauteng’s upmarket Golf Estate homes, not forgetting some of the celebrity homes they have had the opportunity to work on (DJ Zinhle, Thando Thabethe, Roger Goode, Lekau – Drip CEO to name a few) ! In 2021 Denic Cabinets got a chance to complete cross-border projects in Zambia and Zimbabwe with a well known Interior designer named Donald Nxumalo. They have also conducted some design work for clients as far as the USA. In 2022, Denic Cabinets exhibited at the Annual Decorex Africa Show and Dipuo was the 1^st Black-woman owned business to exhibit under Kitchens & bathrooms, in the history of Decorex. In 2023 Dipuo was awarded on International Women’s day by the Consulate General of India, for showing outstanding achievements in the field of Carpentry.  Most recently, Dipuo was 1 of 20 businesses chosen to represent SA to exhibit in Paris, France supported by the DTIC and Brand SA.
