Dennis Mhangami is an experienced business executive, entrepreneur, consultant and academic with three decades of experience in various industries throughout the Southern and East African regions. He focuses is on High-growth Startup Venture and SMME development through venture building, coaching and training as well as strategy consulting for larger organisations. His areas of expertise are in strategy, business modelling and value proposition design. Dennis has helped to develop over 250 young African entrepreneurs, raising over US$20 million in funding. He is also a sessional lecturer in entrepreneurship at the University of the Witwatersrand Graduate School of Business. In 2023, Dennis was recognised as the Startup Coach of the Year by the Africa Startup Ecosystem Builders (ASEB).

He is a PhD candidate in entrepreneurship and holds a Masters in Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation as well as a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing.
