Anjani Harjeven
Anjani is a transformation specialist and the Chief Executive Officer at WomHub; an enterprise with a mission to develop a diverse & inclusive STEM ecosystem through education & technology working from attraction to ownership and investment for girls and women all along the value chain.
As CEO, Anjani leads on strategy and implementation of development for female founders for long term and embedded growth. At the heart of this, she has shaped the WomHub offerings at the intersection of gender, technology, sustainability and financing and works closely with stakeholders in public and private institutions to drive DE&I goals that will shape future economies with meaning. She is a thought leader in gender transformation, fit- for- purpose investment needs of entrepreneurs, developing women in leadership and change management strategies required for achieving societal, industry and organisational inclusivity goals. She is a skilled facilitator, mentor and coach who is energised by people development and the human potential journeys that are possible in rapidly changing environments across various markets.
Her experience, built over 24 years’ across Africa, Europe and Asia, includes advisory and delivery roles across various organisations. She a Change Leadership expert who has spearheaded commercial leadership, entrepreneurial, leadership development and large scale change programmes. She has also led advisory initiatives in the areas of enabling business growth, capability development, change management, talent management, and culture change.
Anjani is based in Johannesburg, South Africa, is a mother to an incredible teenage daughter and is affiliated with organisations globally including the Johns Hopkins University, the Royal Academy of Engineering, Stanford Seed and the Global500 group.
